Not even if I said pretty perleeze? ;-)
I really am very sorry about all this Chris. I've really opened up a can of
worms haven't I? I feel as though I must explain myself.
As I said in a reply to Mike Cardwell (he being the first one to slap me down :-)
a CD-ROM would be a bit of an expensive white elephant to me, and also a little
logistically problematic for for my particular untowered A1200.
I guess I'm just not as an enthusiastic computer user as the rest of you. It
used to be a hobby, now I look on it more of an appliance. Kind of like a
washing machine. :-)
My Amiga has become not much more than a means to access the internet as cost
effectively as possible. As soon as the NC package is installed, I have little
or no use for a CD-ROM. And being on somewhat of a tight budget, surely you can
see my dilemma. It's a pity I can't borrow one.
The new package looks *really* good, and you, Olli & everyone else involved in
it should be congratulated. I really, really want it, but I'm going to have to
think long & hard about whether I want it enough to justify the cost of the
required upgrade.
Again, sorry to be such a pain Chris.
PS - I've got lots of floppies if you want `em. For a small fee, of course. ;-)
