I think that using the modem's microphone is a bit harder to do than use an
external mic.
** On that, I have a toccatta card, so these parallel samplers are NOT
liked by me - though I can undestand their need. The software should be
able to support either kind of input.
My modem has a mic and speaker jacks that allow what is called here "SVD"
Sim' voice and data, but that is for direct lines. The internet doesn't
support that protocol - or so I have been told.
Using the modem's mic you would have to get the data, take it to the
computer, then send it back to the modem. Not a good idea IMHO.
