Well I could say that you MAY have answered your own question there. If
you are connected past mid-night, there could be a problem with the time
calaculations if you connect at 23:40 and disconnect at 02:05 The math
does not work. So Genesis adds 24 hours to the time off but in the math
for calculating the connection time they goofed with the mod(24) function.
Ofcourse there is a problem there too.... If you DO stay connected for more
than 24 hours, how would it be shown.
The people who write it would have to put a bit more code in there to
accomodate this when it happens and to NOT do a mod(24) after adding 24 to
the disconnect time. Maybe subrtact 24 instead?
Add the 24 to the disconnect time to make the maths work ok, but set a flag
too and this makes the system take the 24 back off again.

Are you really sure? I think that if you check again, you will see that
these calls are ones that encompas the transition from one day to the next.
