Duh.......
Found out what the problem was the other day whilst having another butchers
at it.
Had a look in the MUI libs directory and done a version on ones there which
were
correct. Started V3B again and it complained again. So thought I'd run
snoopdos
to see what was going on. Snoopdos duly reported the search order of the
libs.
I think the word "Argh!" springs to mind. I have MUI installed in it's own
directory
(can't remember if it does this by default as installed ages ago), but in
LIBS: there
was another mui libs directory and it was searching that 1st. Renamed it and
it worked
first time after. Now I haven't yet had the time to have a play with it. It
did display my
own stuff (duly read off the hd) fine and displayed it better then 2.94 so
it's a promising
start.
Should have thought of Snoopdos first, never mind only a bit of wasted time
- now just
got 9 days left before this version expires :-)

They should be in the V archive IIRC. If you run "version" on then
it'll give the wrong number because the old ones will still be in
use.
I had trouble finding where to put them, even using SnoopDos. I
suggest sticking them in all likely places
eg MUI:libs ; MUI:libs/mui ; LIBS: ; LIBS:mui ; LIBS:libs etc.
Reboot and try again. If it works, gradually remove some copies
until
you find the once necessary.
