Hi,

Before anyone says "ask in the AMFTP list, I am a NETCONNECT person. I got
AMFTP with Netconnect and as with AMIRC when I joined the news group, most
of the discussion there is to do with the latest versions and I am "not in
the loop" so my quesitions are dismissed or outdated.

What I have done:
I load amitcp and load amftp and connect to localhost WITH a password.

I use my name and password - ofcourse.

I set the remote dir to a ram disc SD0: I connect ok.

I can copy files from my "local" directory to the "remote" directory (SD0:)
with no problems.

I have NOT set any restrictions on where I can go, but it seems hard to move
around directories.

If I go to another directory on the remote end, I get there ok, but when I
go back to SD0:, I get a drawer icon and 321 bytes listed. ONLY.

The other file is still there, but for some reason I can no longer see it.

There are NO sub directories in SD0: and if I double click on it, the
program log shows this:

Sending "CWD "...
CWD
500 'CWD ': command not understood
PWD
257 "SD0:" is current directory.

Ok, I can see that there is the problem with the CWD command.

That is handled by the FTP-Daemon, right? And that is part of AMITCP? The
supplied one DOES support NON anonymous login's?

Could someone please help me?

We can talk about it privatly to save everyone else being flooded with the
conversation.

Thanks in advance.

Cya!
