I think (?) thats supposed to be get latest WebVision. (V22a)

AFAIK, yes. You may be pushing your luck trying to run two versions of
the same program simultaneously, but in terms of "will V2.95 still run
if I've installed NC3" or "will X-Arc still load from the old launch
bar" then definitely yes. The exception being V3Pre2 doesn't like one
of the MUI components with V3Pre4. But Pre5 is due soon anyway.

As far as mail goes, once I'd established that MD2 1.4 wasn't going to
eat my mail, I set it up to point at the exact same data directory as
the older MD2 1.3. So far that has worked fine and is solid as a
rock.

Its ok for stuff like animated buttons and things. As Olli himself
has said, he's trying to make V very stable before launching full
tilt into JS details. The JS is currently quite compatible with the
official standard, but has trouble dealing with sites that take
advantage of non-standard "features" of Netscape or IE implementation.
To be honest, much of the JS trouble I've seen is when the Javascript
is trying to detect if your browser is one of those two and not liking
the answer - even with Spoof As Mozilla switched on. :-(

Sorry, I can't help with any of the other points.

Regards,

Ian
