[netconnect] Why won't my Voyager display jpeg?

For some reason, I can't get Voyager to display .jpg files.
(Well, I tell a lie, it once displayed two *very* small ones).

I'm told it is supposed to display them, but mine doesn't, so what am I
doing wrong?
