Nope! I had exactly the same problem when I tried this in V�Pre5.
Loading a .gif or .jpg directly does nothing, but when you hit
"Reload" it displays OK :) I've tried this with everything from 2K
gif buttons up to a whopping 220K jpg piccy.
Pre5 looks much better than Pre4. The Back button works properly, and
it seems slicker and more stable.
