I have to aggree with Ian here. I had read reviews of NC2 and used the
demo, and had been most impressed. I decided on these factors that it was
worth forking out fifty quid for NC3 and STfax (STfax is superb by the way)
expecting it to stand up to the high standards. I felt it was worth it,
rather than waiting for the partial support of OS 3.5. I was most
dissappointed when I clicked on V and it crashed. Fortunately I had the
experience from being online at Uni and using the demo to be able to
download the update, but it did cost me some phone time.
The point is that the aim of NC is that it is a simple all in one package to
the internet, allowing Amiga users to get online without any technical
knowledge or fuss. If its a fault of the duplicators then Active can have
my CD back to give back to the dupicators and insist on a correctly
duplicated CD, as part of their legal obligation. I know the boys at
Active are doing their best in difficult times but it is also a commercial
venture that should be provided as described on the tin.
Regards
