I agree with you, the support shown now is excellent but that's not the
point. The idea of buying the CD is you get the product (I really miss the
glossy boxes and printed manuals) ready to use. Otherwise we might as well
get a demo of Genesis on every AF and AA CD and download the rest; forget
about a phisical product all together. I assume NC1 worked okay for you
so when you got NC3 you knew what you were doing. Mr Fred Bloggs who's
decided to take a timid step into the realms of the online world isn't
going to know whats happening when he clicks on the voyager button and his
system crashes. Let allown, then having to sort out his E-mail account,
sign up to the support list, and be told "all you have to do is FTP the
programs off the vapor site".
I'm not trying to have such a go as it sounds; I think the current support
and work b\eing done to resolve the problem is great; but the CD is
dissappointing and could cause some people major problems. As Chris said,
it would be nice if we could have a working replacement CD.
