I saw this and gotta say this:
Thanks for the advice Andrew. Its still doing the same thing though.
May be its my set up (A1200. 030, Hypercomm 1) or the baud rate of the
serial connectuon (!) its set at 230400 (on a magic express 56).
Although it must be said that it seems to work alright with Voyager 2
(except I get stalls & jam up's when load big pictures)  & microdot
(when it doesn't crash) 

I'll keep trying though, but I'm gonna give up
soon & ask for a refund !!
