Been down that road myself. :)
I naturally tried to download it from the UK vapor mirror
(applying good bandwidth etiquette) but got the same
problem. I then abandoned my principles and attempted to download from
the US site and waddaya know, it worked fine. :)
Don't know if it's been corrected on the mirrors now but that solved
it for me.
V3 is SOOO stable on my 060/32MB/AGA system. It also handles much more
of the sites that I had to resort to using my office PC (spit) to
access.
I havn't had a single chipmem kaboom yet. 2.95 used to really depress
me on this. To think this is only a pre-release fills me with joy.
All I have to sort out is the absence of my old CM database under NC3
(which appears to have been solved about 2 screens up this list :)
)and then get my spanky new 56K modem up and running and i'll be as
happy as Homer with a lifetime Dunkin' Donuts voucher :)
