Hmmm Not really sure of your problem but have you tried PFS3
Filesystem?
It speeds up net access and for the life of me I cannot crash it -
even turning off half way through a download or even when writing a
big picture to disk and lightning strikes our local substation does no
damage at all. I think it should be the filesystem of OS3.5!
