Hi There...

I'm currently running AmIRC 3.2.2 as found in the NC3 package. It's
starting to annoy me;

1) I have a user set up called Stimpy, as I always did under NC2.
2) When Genesis starts, Stimpy is selected from the user selection.
3) Genesis is set to start with Stimpy as the user as and when it
starts.
4) When I start MD-II, it automatically defaults to Stimpy for it's
user.
5) When I start up AmIRC, and select the server, the ghosted out
User Name box shows Stimpy.

So, why oh why do I still show up as root@*.cableinet.co.uk when I
eventually connect to an IRC network that doesn't mind root
connections?

AmIRC is obviously setting me up as root somewhere - the question is
what can I do to stop it?

Bablos.
