Hi everyone,

This one's a bit of a long time after the original post, but I got it
working (finally), so here it is...

Bablos wrote the following about [netconnect] AmIRC Problems:

Kinda similar to my setup, except that I use my root profile for
everything, and only set up a 2nd profile for IRC.

Dunno why it doesn't change automatically, or why there isn't a
requestor to do this job within AmIRC. The solution is to connect
using Genesis, then open a Shell and type *login* Then enter the
profile name of the profile you want to use in AmIRC.

Funnily enough, every other NC3 application still uses whatever you
logged in as in Genesis. There seems to be an old/new boundary being
crossed here, and AmIRC is in the 'old' category!

Try out the above, and let me know if it works. It seems 100% OK
here.
