Hmm... I think there are a couple of progs floating about (maybe on
Aminet?) where you can type in the number and it gives a description. 
If you're prepared to apply slightly more braincells to it (but not
many! :) ) there is a file that comes with MCP called mcp.gurudat
which lists most of them as both literal and mask values.

Please, a bit of friendly advice. Don't go madly installing Enforcer
or Mungwall and leave it running.  They are advanced debugging tools
and require you to read and understand the docs to get anything useful
out of them.  Some ppl like to leave them in all the time - this is
discouraged in the docs and can slow down your system. It can even
make the crashes worse or more frequent.

But by all means try 'em out. You can learn all sorts of interesting
things about your system from the docs alone.
