Dear Friends,
I have had to reinstall NC3 afresh onto a re-formatted hard drive,
floowing a major crash caused by unplugging my Amiga by accident while
it was saving. As a result It has nothing from my NC2 installation.
There are several problems -
"Back" on Voyager rarely works, and when it does a load of garbage
appears in the address line. The result is I have to type in some
addresses time and time again - boring and annoying.
MD II - I can't save E-Mail addresses. I have managed to get a few in
the address book, but if is click on "To:" in MD's New Message window
I get a window headed "Select recipients". This may be correct, but
none of the addresses are there, so again I have to type everything
in. Also the up and down arrows don't work, the slider bar moves the
script, but the arrows have no effect. Also whn pointing ot text for
editing with the cursor it has to be right at the bottom of the text
otherwise it operates on the line above.
I also can't move the Octopus's window. It sits right in the middle
of my screen and won't budge. There was something to click to make it
moveable in NC2, but I can't find it on this installation.
Those are the most annoying weirdies. It is a straight installation
off the CD together with a new download of Voyager, and the libraries
that I managed to save from my old set up.
Please can anyone help.
