And here it is :--
I use MTU (Maximum Trasmission Unit) of 576, I got this from a mag. and I quote,
""...and by default it's set to 1500 bytes, which is perfect for a 10 Mbit ethernet
connection. For Dial-Up networking it should be much smaller: 576 is the
recommended number.
(still quoting, mind) This is because much of the Net uses a small MTU, and
specifying a larger one results in packet fragmentation, which slows
delivery and results in more lost data if there's an error - one lost
fragmented packet means several have to be re-sent - and there are always
errors. Although reducing MTU doesn't make your connection faster, it does
make downloads faster.""
BTW MTU is found at the bottom of you ISP's Genesis/Interface/Interface tab.
