Hi Andrea,
I'm at work, so not /right/ in front of Octopus, but it's an easy one, I
think. If you right click anywhere in the Octopus window, you should see a
small pop-up window. Deselect 'backdrop' or 'background' and it will become
a proper window. Just now it's part of your background, so can't be moved.
