IIRC the problem was if you *changed* the type of launch. If you set
up the launch type first with a dummy file, say ok, re-edit the prefs
THEN set the real file to use it should work ok. I hope. ;-)

BTW, it doesn't delete the file, it "just" sets its size to zero.
Which deletes all the data in it, but the file appears to still be
there. Huh. :(

I think the advantages of Octopus over the NC2 bar were basically
something to do with more advanced icon handling and the ability to
launch bars from buttons.  I have to admit I didn't play with it much
because nobody looked like they were about to fix it in a hurry.
