Hi Derek
I pr-ordered NC� and received it a few days after its release and have been
using it ever since. At the start I admit I had a lot of probs especially
with Octopus, Webvision and v� but I percevered and according to my mate, who
got his NC� at the same time, I was the first person in the world to get it
working because he was on IRC most nights and everybody was complaining about
it, just lucky I guess :-)

I don't use MD11 but I have not had any bother with NC� regarding Y2K.(YET)

That is a personal thing and is up to you whether you want to upgrade or
not.

I was one of the first to report on Octopus eating programs and as I didn't
like the look of it anyway I went back to the NC� Dock bar.

I upgraded to the latest version when it came out and have had no probs.
Basically you could just update the programs you want and pay the individual
licences or buy NC� and update them as the improved versions come out as
they work with the NC� keyfile, you pays your money and takes your chance:-)
