I don't think so. MD has /never/ been unstable here. It crashed a
couple of times when I first got it in NC2, but even that may have
been because I had a lowly system and tried to do too much at once.

Are you sure it was just that. It seems a bit suspicious to me.

That does seem a bit of a problem, but you could easily have made a
backup of something this important. I bet it's no more than 50k
> MD continually screws something up
Like what?
> (no surprise here it's been goofy since it's inception)
A matter of opinion. I prefer it to YAM, never had any problems
AFAICR.
> Nearly every program needed to be upgraded...
Wrong. Two programs needed to be downloaded. The rest you /could/
upgrade if and when you wanted which, so they tell me, is a good
thing? Or would you rather they just made everything perfect and then
buggered off?
> Octopus doesn't even meet up to the NC dockbar
Why?

Er, how can that be true? Downloading doesn't destroy files at random.

What, a whole thirty quid?

And how long has Windows been going? Longer than Microdot2.
