I just received NetConnect V3. My ISP is ATT Global. I've tried to connect using PPP and I get a message 'PAP authentication failed' The problem is I think my ISP uses CHAP not PAP. Anyway I connect using Linux and PPP fine. I also tried using SLIP but the Genesis Wizard cannot make a script that works. The script for attglobal.net login requires the user to add the following information all on one line i.e. USINET <username> <password> It then spits back the IP address to use and the gateway. Last it tells you to begin transmission. I have scripts that previously worked with AmiTCP 4.0 demo. Genesis is sufficiently different where it does not seem to work. Any thoughts? I would prefer to get PPP working. I bought OS 3.5 before NetConnect and couldn't get the included PPP to work either. In fact it gave the same error I believe.
