Yep! It was you. Allow me to quote from way back on 4th June 1999:
"Yeah, it was me who came out with the "standing on paper" analogy, and I
was shot down in flames by Oliver Wagner himself - basically it's a bug
that it doesn't work! I thought it a feature ;-)
