When I first started with the whole comms/internet thing, I joined
free4all. It was great that they had Amiga support and were helpful,
however, they could not solve my problem: line drops after only a few
minutes. Ultimately, I switched to Ukonline, which I had no problems
with.
Only a fool would sign up with Redhotant since they seem to come under
the same JAKinternet group. Well.....guess what this fool has just
done. Signed up with Redhotant. The linedrops are terrible. Can
anybody help with this one? I have tried all sorts of buffer
settings, baud rates and init strings but none of which seems to make
any difference. I know they have a time out feature if you are not
using the line but it has happened many time when I am downloading.
