Logging onto ftp://ftp.shoalhaven.net.au (which is my own ISP's site)
I can only connect into my own root directory using mFTP. Inside
that directory is a WWW directory where all my stuff is stored. With
AmFTP, I could connect directly into the WWW directory (or, indeed
into any further sub-directory). The default action for AmFTP was to
reconnect to the last directory I was in when I logged off. this
does not seem to be the case with mFTP.

Better information regarding failures. I connected to Aminet at
Padeborn in Germany (ftp.uni-padeborn.de/ftp/aminet/pub) and all
seemed to go well except that it tried to load Recent-7 and simply
stopped doing anything. Not a hang-up, it just sat there as if to
say "what do you want to do now?" When I connected with AmFTP, I
got a message that Recent-7 "file not found". Much more useful.

Nothing really. I rather like the interface and the way it
functions.

Hope that helps.

Good luck to the new developers, thanks for continuing with the
programs.

Also to you, Chris.
