After my recent comments on the Netconnect list, I'm very glad to hear it!

- It gurus lots, randomly. I have done as little as run mFTP, connect to a
server, select a bunch of files to be uploaded and left it and it gurud.
So there needs to be some proper testing with something like Enforcer
running to catch all those illegal memory accesses and stuff. This is
vital because more than anything else with an FTP client I need
STABILITY. It needs to be rock solid. AmFTP has never ever crashed on
  me.

- It's really slow at doing directory listings. A list of files that takes
mFTP about a second to format on my machine (030/25MHz) can take perhaps
30 seconds or more on mFTP which is simply ridiculous.

- If you delete a file from a server and then try to upload a file with
the same name again, it STILL asks if you want to overwrite the file!
(even though it's not even on the remote server anymore, and even if you
press "refresh" to update the remote file listing). And then, if you
press "Overwrite" it just fails and doesn't even upload the file!

- I've noticed that sometimes if a server is slow to respond, mFTP can get
stuck in a "Waiting for file list" state where the busy indicator is
still sweeping backwards and forwards but "Abort" does nothing (no I'm
not in that mode where the docs say abort won't work). Even more
annoying, closing the window works but leaves the "Waiting for file list
window" open. Quitting mFTP altogether then sort of works, the main
window closes and the little borderless "waiting for file list window"
is cleared but it STILL stays there! mFTP also stays in the Exchange
  commodity list. Very annoying.

A similar thing can also occur if you close the main interface window
while the "waiting for file list" window is open...it stays there again.

I think you need to check the code for what happens firstly when you try
to abort a filelist transfer and secondly when you close the main
interface window while there's a little borderless window there.

- Once, I'd just been connected to my webserver FTP upload server and
transferred a few files successfully. I left it for a while while I
wrote a new HTML file then tried to upload this. The batch window
appeared, and went instantly from 0% to 100% without even attempting any
network activity!!! The file was DEFINITELY not uploaded. Worse still, I
then tried to upload it again and got told the file already existed!
Even worse again, even if I clicked "overwrite" it STILL failed to even
attempt any network activity! Again, the file was DEFINITELY not
uploaded. And no the FTP server hadn't timed out because I could refresh
the remote listing etc. and that worked fine but even after that I still
couldn't upload and mFTP still insisted a file which was blatently not
  there was!

- Sometimes mFTP received the full filelist (x bytes) but then
just sits there with the "Receiving filelist" window open and doesn't do
anything. Going to the same site with AmFTP works fine and mFTP
definitely got the full filelist as the list size was the same (x bytes)
  in both cases.

- It seems to be a bit memory hungry, considerably more so than AmFTP
(this is simply what I've noticed, I haven't done any quantitative
tests). Also, regarding memory, I've noticed that sometimes if you start
it with low-ish memory then it eats up all your available memory but
doesn't actually appear! (Perhaps it's allocating memory, then finding
it hasn't got enough to open the GUI, and then quitting but without
explanation and without releasing the memory again?)

>2. What features would you like adding to mFTP?

- Add an option to allow to overwrite files WITHOUT asking so you can
actually sensibly update a large number of files

- Add recursive file uploading? (not so important)

>3. What do you dislike about mFTP? ie. the design, the way something
>functions (or doesn't function) etc

Default to split window mode? I don't find the single window mode very
useful.

Hope those are helpful, get back to me if you need more info.
