How much memory do you have? In low memory situations you may not have
enough to refresh the display. I get this with a CV64/3D card and 8MB
memory. Sometimes mouse clicks produce a *very* delayed action.

I monitor this by opening Voyager on workbench in a window
small enough to see the top of the workbench screen. I click on the
workbench from time to time to check on the memory. If I am running
low I do an "avail flush" or flush pages from memory in Voyager.
