I had to give up my NC2 CD to "upgrade" to NC3.
Of course I kept a back-up copy of the installation, but which partition do
you think got nuked beyond repair by a particularly nasty Genesis Wizard
crash? You guessed it. No more NC2 back-up copy. :-(
I dug out an old CU-Amiga coverCD with a demo of NC2 on it and used
the appp.device file from that. No luck though. Genesis Wizard still
bombed out my Miggy in spectacular fashion about 3 seconds after connecting
to an Abel Gratis account that I've just got that working in seconds on
the Win98 PC sitting next to my Miggy.
I'm gonna have another go at rolling my own setup in Genesis Prefs. It
has never worked for me without using Genesis Wizard first, complaining
that it doesn't know anything about the interface when I dial, but here
goes.......
