It's all to do with the MIME types. Go into V's settings menu and
edit the MIME types to use SAVE, not VIEW for the type of file you
want (lha's or lzx's I guess?). For pictures you are more likely to
want to keep it as VIEW directly with something like Multiview.
The other way, which I often use, is to right-click over the link and
select Save or Save-As over the link and specify where you want it to
go. DOpus or X-Arc can then look at it later, regardless of cache
flushes, MIME types or whatever.
