I tried two Pace Solos and found both unacceptable. The external build
quality is poor, which doesn't say much about the internal quality.
These modems are not made by Pace and don't really deserve the Pace
name. I sent the Solos back and bought a Pace 56 Voice instead, a far
superior product.

It always connected, but rarely at more than 26400. 31200 was the most I
ever saw, once only.
