Because it is rude to use a netconnect mailing list for completely off
topic questions. There are a lot of mailing lists out there for either
general questiong or gfx card specific questions. It doesn't matter
here if you are a netconnect user or not. I am a netconnect user. So,
if I have problems with something relevant to netconnect, I ask it
here. If it's something that has nothing to do with netconnect, I'll
ask it somewhere else.

Wrong, we are a small community of NetConnect users helping eachother
with NetConnect related problems.
I think whoever moderates the list has the right to ask people posting
off-topic questions to not do this, and yes, even threaten to ban
people if they continue this behaviour.
