Hello Dirk

Here is my two cents worth.

Well Dirk, may I ask what is "off topic"?

This is a NETCONNECT mailing list and I am getting postings in this group
about ISP's in England and things which are not exactly to do with
Netconnect, but more with ISP's and "Free ISP access" REDHOTANT (or whom
ever) etc etc etc.

I think that Andre was well withing the bounds of the group asking what he
asked.

Ok, I am not exactly a welth of information and I ask a few questions myself
now and then.

Like Andre, I have to agree: Some people are VERY helpful and some are not.

Asking in the "Correct" group doesn't always work.

Correct! And if he has problems getting his Graphics card working with
Netconnect, why shouldn't he be allowed to ask here?

Other people will have graphics cards and can help him. Asking in the
"Graphics" mailing list it could be turned around and he be told to ask in
the netconnect group, as it is a program related problem.

This is fair enough, but from where I am sitting (OBJECTIVE to what is going
on) Chris is not in any position to do that.

Having said this: Where would you suggest that Andre ask for help?

I am interested - as I am sure are the people who helped him. Information
should be shared. It helps more poeple if you share it than if you hoard
it.
