It would seem that at some times during editing emails in Microdot II, the cursor leaps accross the screen leaving a ghost cursor behind it and a few spaces (or a tab stop) and then a terminating tilda. As I type this, it seems to be working. Bah humbug. There's nothing worse than an intemittent error. Has anyone else ever observed MDII doing this when editing? This has only started happening since I had a HD crash and re-validate on my Workbench: partition. The system came back up fine after the usual 10-15 min whirring and clicking and then a reboot.
