That's not Microdot, that is Textinput.mcc. Check your version
version MUI:Libs/mui/textinput.mcc
--mine is 28.2 and I believe it is the latest. I believe it is bugged
in all versions.

Nope, but mine often gets corrupted graphics on the first line I type.
I can correct it by moving the cursor up one line and pressing
RETURN. Anything else deletes the typed characters and sometimes
recovers previously deleted stuff. After either of these it behaves
normally. The simple fix for this for me was to always edit in GoldEd,
which I also do with YAM (although TextEditor.mcc has none of Textinput's
faults.)
