Hi Amiga guyz
I've just got on the 'Net recently, thanx to BT's Surftime package, but I'm
having a few problems with Genesis.
I signed up to BTInternet's Surftime package (084404 number), and ran the
Genesis Wizard to connect to it. I couldn't log in, though, and kept getting
"PAP Authentication Error" messages.
I was recommended by an Amigan on csam to use the appp.device which came
with the NetConnect 2.1 update from Vapor's FTP site. After installing this,
everything seemed to go fine, although I was asked to enter the domain name
manually (btinternet.com).
Now when I connect to BTI (I have to disable obtaining of host name/domain
name first, or I get a warning), everything seems to go OK but none of my
browsers can resolve host names.
I've entered the DNS addresses, supplied by BTI, manually into the Genesis
Prefs, but this doesn't make any difference.
How should I configure Genesis to use BTI? I'm using the Miami demo now,
which works fine, but I want to be able to use Genesis with BTI.
