Mike,

I didn't want to mess up a working system just to see a non-MUI version of
the Genesis interface so I didn't load the OS3.9 version.

Genesis did not crash with BT. It refused to log on (failed CHAPS
negotiation?). The only fix was to use the earlier appp.device as you
suggested.

Roy Leith

Subject: [netconnect] That Fixed appp.device

Hi,

Does anybody know if OS3.9 came with the fixed appp.device that was
discussed on this list last summer? THe time when there was a payment
dispute etc. etc.

How did people stop Genesis crashing with BT? Was it simply a change
of the appp.device back to the one that came with NetCOnnect2?

Thanks in advance,

MIke C
