Clint,

I have run an Ethernet connection to a PC at the same time as running a
dialup connection from the Amiga. That's a very similar setup to the one you
describe and I have not had the problems you report. Don't think me daft,
but I assume you have added serial ports in order to run two serial
processes simultaneously. I used an IOBLIX until it was destroyed in a
lightening storm (hence the reply via the PC!).

Regards
Roy Leith

Subject: [netconnect] Genesis networking

Hi
I have just set up a network (null modem) with two amigas running
genesis, that is working fine but one of the machines has a internet
conection using genesis as well. When I have the two amigas connected
and then with the one with the internet conection I go on the internet
the connection between the two amigas goes off line. The same hapenes
if I do it the other way around, go on the internet THEN connect the
two amigas makes the internet connection go offline.

please help :-(
