Agreed, I did quite a bit of a poke around with this prior to writing my
original email, and since I have written my email.
(I'm not one of those that easily resorts to writing back to a mailing list
or contacting a helpdesk without doing any extensive trouble shooting).
The troubleshooting that I have done is very consistent with the conclusion
we have come to.
The version of the Mikrotik MIB that was being used dates back to 2011,
which, firstly, makes the mib over six years old, but secondly, back then,
Mikrotik did not have LLDP support, which it does have now.
When I noticed that the MIB was out of date, I sent though the latest MIB
which you kindly sorted out for me Jeroyn. Do you have an email that I can
forward this thread to ? Just a bit of double handling from my end, but I
do want to escalate this to the proper channels.
