I'm having some trouble with logins and passwords. I'm logged into my
Netdisco server on my desktop but if I try to login on my laptop, all I get
are bad username/password. I even created a new test account and couldn't
login with it from the laptop. Any suggestions?

So it's unlikely a Netdisco issue.

Always try clearing cookies and a different browser. Also trying
another computer can't hurt.

Check the keyboard map setting as well. Sometimes there are subtle differences.

Maybe it doesn't like Macs. I tried Chrome, Firefox and Safari and each one
came back bad username/password.

Nope, doesn't like my Linux laptop either. Tried Chrome and Firefox, reset
my password, deleted and re-created test account. None of it worked.

I tried it on a Windows laptop, same result.

I even opened a new browser on my desktop and still couldn't login.

I'm afraid to logout or close this tab because I may not be able to get
back in.

well, to me as well it sounds as a client side issue.

my guesses would be:
* different codepage/keyboard layout on your laptop
* some kind of proxy/antivirus/plugin thats mangling your http requests
* dns issues
 * vpn client that intercepts traffic

what does your login process look like? f12 is the default key in most browsers
to check out the network requests & replies. anything other that response code
200 or 302 would be something to look at.
