Hey all,

We have only recently migrated to NetDisco 2 from NetDisco 1. In old
NetDisco, we had this set up in a cronjob to "refresh devices" every hour.

 /usr/share/netdisco/netdisco -b -R

We have several homegrown tools that utilize the NetDisco DB to present end
users with information without them having to have access to NetDisco.

Does NetDisco 2 offer this same feature?

Thanks,

I'm running heavily customized version of Netdisco from the beginning of
2016. The person who did the customization does not work here anymore.

New Cisco switches are showing up a Cisco Product.2191, I have found the
correct MIB to replace: CISCO-PRODUCTS-MIB.my from the GItHub. I have
put this new MIB in ...netdisco-mib/cisco/ directory and restarted all
Netdisco processes (rebooted the virtual guest). I deleted the switches
via the GUI and rediscovered them, yet the switches still show up as
Cisco Product.2191.

What do I need to do for the correct model name to show up in the inventory?

Regards,

K
