Hi, you probably don't need to do this manually any more, as the backend
daemon will automatically refresh all devices once per day.
To do this manually, choose Discover All from the Admin menu, or run
'netdisco-do discoverall' at the cli.
regards,
Oliver.

So the issue with that is we require an hourly refresh of devices. We have
tools that tie into the NetDisco DB so that our end users can see which
ports are being used or unused at any given time.
The discoverall run takes quite a while for us, since we have around 3,000
switches in NetDisco. Is that the only way these devices will refresh now?
Thanks,

Hi,
This is the default but it's easily overridden. Add a "schedule" config
item to your deployment.yml as described here:
https://github.com/netdisco/netdisco/wiki/Configuration#code-schedule-code
You only need to add the bit needed to override (i.e. discoverall).
This config replaces all the cron jobs from Netdisco 1.
regards,
oliver.
