sure,
in the web interface go to to admin -> snmp connect failures. take any device
ip you see there and then run a discovery of that device on the commandline:
netdisco-do discover -DI -d __device_ip__
that should give you a hint why discovery is failing. if it's not something
obvious you see there then please send the output of that command to the
mailing list so we can have a closer look;
good luck.

Subject: [Netdisco] auto-discovery bumps
BRIEF
- I have a new NetDisco installation ... but the Inventory is empty
- How might I trouble-shoot the connection between data gathering
(bulkwalks) and insertion into the postgres/netdisco database?
DETAIL
I have a brand-new Netdisco installation:
App::Netdisco 2.42.10
SNMP::Info 3.68
DB Schema 58
PostgreSQL 9.2.24
Perl 5.20.1

I can bring up the Web interface and log in ...

Grabbing a pcap, I can see tens of thousands of SNMP bulkwalks against IP
addresses I recognize (mgmt. agents on my Ethernet switches, for example) ...
along with the suitable replies from my gear.
Suggestions for the next trouble-shooting step?
