A colleague has been trying to install Netdot 1.0.6 under Ubuntu 14.04.
We've symlinked the netdot_apache2_local.conf into the new
/etc/apache2/conf-enabled/ directory. The problem is that accesses to
/netdot/ are rejected with a 500 server error. The Apache error.log says:
" No authentication done but request not allowed without authentication
for /netdot/login.html. Authentication not configured?"
I see the same problem reported at

http://osl.uoregon.edu/pipermail/netdot-users/2013-November/001679.html
but there was no reply to either thread.
Anyone got any suggestions as to where to look?
