We had a problem with MSIE not supporting frames the same as Netscape and
turned dynamic frames support OFF in the command center under CP services.
Default is off for Netscape. Seems backwards but worked for us.

Subject: [ND] Dynamic frame targeting capability

Folks,

I recently tried using framesets, splitting it into a top & bottom page.
The top
page has two buttons, both goes to another ND pages. The first
button goes to an
ND page, and targets the top frame. The other goes to an ND page and
targets the
bottom frame. This is called dynamic frame targeting.

MSIE 4.x does NOT support dynamic frame targeting, thus when the top
frame's contents
appear, ND complains "...browser does not support dynamic frame
capability..." When
tested with Netscape 4.x, it worked just fine.

The only workaround that I had was to place both button's target frame to
the same (top or bottom) frame. Thus, non-dynamic frame targeting.

Anybody has any other suggestions besides tinkering with default html
settings ?

Regards,
YK
