Thanks for the response. Yes, it is clearly browser-dependent as Peter says,
but what is frustrating is that there doesn't seem to be any simple way to get
Netscape not to show these tooltips. I tried your solution and it works, but
I'm not sure we want to add the necessary code to every single page in our
application -- they're already complicated enough! I'll keep my eye out for a
simpler solution, but for the moment I'm going to accept the annoying tooltips
as a fact of life.
