There may also bee a timeout on the web server.

While the PI 266 is probably adequate you should have a minimum of 128 MB
ram. The official recommendation from ND I believe is 256 MB ram for a
developers machine and 512 MB ram for a production server as a minimum.

And believe me..... they aren't kidding.

Subject: [ND] ND4.13 Timing Out

I have a problem in that due to a resource constraint in my development
environment one of the pages in my ND4.13 HTML application takes more than 5
minutes to load.

For some reason, each time the page hits the 5 minute mark I start to get
Internet Explorer Server Timed Out messages.

I have tried changing the project time out setting but this does not seem to
have any impact. I have examined the Internet Explorer options but do not
seem to be able to change the timeout here.

Is there a timeout setting somewhere I have missed?

Also, I am developing with the ND Engine, and Studio on my development
machine accessing a remote Oracle database. The development machine is a
PII 266 with 64 MB ram. This seemed to provide lots of power under ND3.12
put seems to be wholly inadequate for ND4.13. Has anyone seen similar
resource changes? What are others using as ND development workstations?

Thanks in advance,

Brent Claxton
