IE also has a timeout.
I don't think there is a friendly way to get at it, you
need to edit the registry. The following is from
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q181/0/50.asp
1. Install Internet Explorer version 4.01 Service Pack 1 or later. To obtain Internet
Explorer, please visit the following Microsoft Web site:
www.microsoft.com/ie/
2. Add the ReceiveTimeout DWORD value with a data value of <number of
seconds>*1000 in the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
InternetSettings
For example, if you want the timeout duration to be 8 minutes, set the
ReceiveTimeout data value to 480000 (<480>*1000).
