Like Bob, we are also using a remote tool to use the Command Center on the remote machine itself (PCduo). Is there anyone out there who has successfully used the Command Center remotely? Is this a known bug by any chance? thx, - Marilyn -----Original Message----- From: Bob Ireland [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, May 27, 1999 2:12 PM To: Beaudreau, Marilyn; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [ND] "Service Manager is not running" error using Command Center Remot ely... We are having the same problem. I have a server located on a secure site, which is in another part of London. I have a PC Anywhere connection to the server using our networks which I can use to control the Command Center on the remote machine and I can see the Application Server working properly. However if I use the Command Center on my desktop to try and gain access to the Command Center on the remote machine I get the same error "Service Manager is not running". One thing we had to do was ensure that the routers between our network and the remote site would route IIOP. But it still has not worked. Although it does not resolve your problem, I'd like to know what causes the problem to.
