Could someone from ND address this SOON - like within a day or so!? Which
version should we be going with? If we install a new version of the JDK
does it impact our project at all (require a recompile) or anything?
thx,
- Marilyn

Hi
What version should we be going to JDK 1.1.17B or JDK 1.1.8?

Hi all,
Your JDK Y2K concerns are very important; I forwarded this thread to Bill
Lazar, [EMAIL PROTECTED] He is the ND product manager and the right
person to contact for an official answer.

The JDK issues are unlikely to show up in normal testing, because the
glitches (that I know of) involve leap-year peculiarities on Feb. 29th.
This is not unique to Java; I expect leap day problems in many apps.
If your company has a Y2K program or plan, I believe it would be
prudent to include tests for Feb28-Mar01.
Cheers,
Joel
